Pockets

Okay funny story time. So yesterday Ev and I went to lunch at Chili’s. You see, Evan gave a guy a ride to the hospital and in exchange for the ride he gave him a gift card to Chili’s. Karma. So anyways, while we were waiting to be seated, I went to use the little girls room. I’m in my stall when the bathroom door opens and I hear a man clear his throat. I panic and try to remember if the restroom door said Women’s. Yes? No? Yes… Maybe? I swear it said Women’s. I wouldn’t walk into the Men’s room, would I? So I stay in my stall and wait until it’s clear. Do a speedy hand washing them walk out and casually look over my shoulder at the door. Women’s. I knew I wasn’t crazy! So maybe that guy was? Or maybe it was really a woman with a deep manly voice? Who knows. I’m just glad I wasn’t sitting in the stall of a mans restroom. Gross.

So here is project #3 – Pockets

How i did it-
First- cut out the pockets in the shape I wanted them.
Second- folded the edges down and pressed them with an iron.
Third- sewed the pocket onto the shirt!
(I used a thread a different color than the fabric so you can see it)

And WaaLaa!
