VENICE 2006
I had the opportunity to nanny twin boys in Italy after high school. So of course I jumped on that opportunity like no ones business!
It had always been my dream to go to Venice, Italy since I was a little girl. I saw pictures of it, even painted a few paintings of it, but I never thought I would actually get to go there in person!
It really was like a dream when I first stepped off the train. I didn’t think it was real. The whole time I walked around I felt like I was on cloud 9. Maybe I was?
Everywhere I looked it was a picture in my mind, everything was so perfect. The colors, the people the architecture, all of it.
I didn’t want that moment to end!
I even met an Italian boy over there that showed me around. Don’t worry Evan knows all about him, and in NO way is he jealous;)
His name was Cesk, he showed me around, his hand in mine.
He bought me roses, twice, not even kidding.
Then we rode on one of those boats through all the buildings.
He even snuck a few kisses, WHAT? Yes true story, it totally caught me off guard but I thought, hey I’m in Venice, the city of romance. So I let it happen.
After touring around almost all of Venice (it felt like), he walked me to my train and we said our good byes. It seriously felt like I was in a movie.
Well that was my adventure in Venice!
