2013

It was so funny to watch the boys try and figure out how to use the poppers. They finally gave up and let Dada pop them. We went through 8 poppers in a very short amount of time. Every time Evan would pull the string, the boys would jump and scream and dance around. It was a fun way to bring in the new year with them.

So I have been thinking a lot about this new year and what I wanted my New Years resolutions to be.
And the thing that kept coming to mind was to work on myself. I have realized this past year that I have been neglecting myself and these past couple months I have really felt it. Being a wife and mama of two makes it easy to put yourself on the back burner. I need to remember to set aside time for myself even if it’s just 10 or 15 minutes. I need that time to think, meditate and develop my talents. Of course I will always take care of my family and make sure their needs are met first, it’s in my nature and who I am. But I am also going to make sure to set time aside for me.

New Years Resolution for 2013
(I’m only going to share a few of them on here)

  •  Make more time for myself to think and meditate.
  •  Be confident.
  •  Be happy.
  •  Be grateful for what I have.
  •  Be more positive.
  •  Learn to cook healthier meals.

I love fresh new starts and I am excited for to see what this year has in store for us!
