Snowed in {part 1}

Over the weekend it snowed, a LOT.
It was really pretty to watch from inside our cozy house.
We went out in it a few times but not for very long. Gibby kept saying, “ewww” when the snowflakes would fall on her face and would try and wipe it off. It was really cute to watch her.
The boys had fun playing in it for a bit, then Nixon tripped on his boots and fell in the snow, after that they all wanted to come back inside for a warm bath.
We are all use to the warm desert air and this fluffy white stuff is COLD. 😉
Ev got home from work Saturday evening, I was glad to have him home with us and not have to worry about him driving in the icy snow. Church was cancelled on Sunday due to the weather, so we stayed in and watch some of our favorite childhood movies all day.
I was surprise that our kids actually enjoyed watching them too and sat and watched them with us.
We kicked off our movie day with Bedknobs and Broomsticks, then The Sandlot, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Flubber and the Gnome-Mobile. Bedknobs and Broomsticks has been their favorite. They call it the witch show and have already watched it twice. It was one of my favorites as a child too. That and the Gnome-Mobile.
Gibson is over baby spoons and onto bigger and better things.
baby spoons are for babies… duh Mom. ^^
Jovi wanted Gibson to take a look at all the snow. When she saw it she kept saying, “oooooo cooed” meaning, “Ooo, cold!”
