After the boys get out of school, we are always looking for fun learning activities for them to do before their TV time. We do a lot of drawing, painting, sticker books and play dough. But lately, I’ve been wanting to switch things up a bit and branch out from our regular activities. I recently heard about a company called KANO. It’s a computer kit that is sent to your house and you and your kiddos build it together! The boys and I had a lot of fun pulling all the pieces out and putting it all together. It’s probably one of the most fun activities we have done together in a long time! I loved how easy the instructions were and how they were more like a storybook vs instructions. It made it a lot more fun and engaging for the boys, and they couldn’t wait to see it all put together.

He was very careful to line them all up just how he wanted them. Both Jovi and Nix were pretty excited about all the stickers that came with it as well! They are sticker obsessed.

And all of their face expressions is just priceless.
It came with this magnify glass so the boys could look very closely at the brain of their computer. They loved it.
And then they watched it come to life!!!
Nix couldn’t wait to show Dada when he got home from the salon. Each of the games on it teaches them some sort lesson. They even can learn coding on it. I thought that was pretty cool!
I think Nix took onto the computer a little more than Jovi did. But I’m sure he will get there. And for now, I’m totally fine with it! then we don’t have to fight over who gets a turn first.;)
Jovi was content to just finish coloring his school calendar for the month of September. He really took his time on it and did really great job!
Gibson girl wanted in on some Daddy snugs. She loves him so much!
Nix is pretty proud of his new computer and tells everyone that comes over all about it!
I’m hoping it will keep it’s hype up for a very long time. 🙂
