Good Morning, City Children’s Book and Baby Girl’s Nursery

It rained most of the weekend so we spent it playing inside, reading books, nesting and more nesting. I can finally say that the nursery is finished! and I’m loving the simplicity of it. It’s the only room in the house that’s clean at the moment… so it’s where I tend to hang out lately just to avoid the mess of rest of the house. 😉 Ev did help with the dishes last night so that was very helpful and I love him so much for it!

Just before bed, I let each of the little loves pick out a book. Then we put them in a pile and I close my eyes and pick which one to read first. This way, there are no fights on who’s book gets to be read first.

Good Morning, City was the first runner up. It’s such a cute book with awesome illustrations! I’m a sucker for great illustrations. The next book up was Elmer the Elephant then Muffin Mouses New House (a favorite of mine from when I was little) Then it’s off to bed for these three sweet littles.

It feels so good to have the nursery complete! I even went out and bought some newborn diapers the other day. I forgot how stinkin’ tiny and cute those things are!! Anyways, here’s a peek into the nursery. 🙂
