A fun tradition we have with my family, when it starts to cool off, is boho dinners and a backyard movie! We hang a very large sheet against the house and use projection screen. The kids love it. I would have to say that Boho dinners and s’mores are right up there with cotton candy in my book;) Sooooo goooood!! If you have never had boho dinner (also known has tinfoil dinners) I would suggest you give them a try! Like probably tonight or tomorrow. I think everyone makes them a little different, but this is how we make them….
Ingredients:
1 cabbage leaf
1 hamburger patty
cut up carrots, potatoes, onions and mushrooms (and any other veggies you want to add)
salt and pepper
Directions:
Use a large square piece of aluminum foil for each tin foil dinner. Spray foil with nonstick cooking spray. Put the cabbage leave down first, then the hamburger patty on top of it. Then comes all the other ingredients on top of the patty how ever your heart desires. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, to taste. Then we cook them on the fire coals and check them every 25 mins! They are the perfect meal for camping! And just so tasty.
Nix gets his cast off the week after Halloween! We can’t wait. I already mentioned this on my instagram, but we are definitely looking forward to normal baths again!!
Poor Jov busted his lip open on the tramp. These boys I’ll tell yah!!
Little miss Gibson is a chocolate milk fan. You can tell by the looks of her dress. 😉
And then we wait……
Out of all my kiddos, Gibson is the only one that shares my love for Boho dinners. She has also been my least picky eater. I’m crossing my fingers it doesn’t change!
My sweet little niece Yui! She makes for the perfect table center piece.
Yui and my little brother Caleb. Aka Uncle celp.
“Bye Mama, be back soon!”
And then we got to enjoy S’mores by the fire with this gorgeous sunset as our backdrop.
