I know Summer is over and swimming probably isn’t really on your mind right now, buuuut it’s still super hot here and swimming hasn’t stopped for us just yet;) So I thought it would be fun to share a list of whats inside my pool bag and hopefully give you some new and helpful ideas and things to bring! I’ll list those below. But first, a little update on life and just trying to keep it real. <3
Babe has been out of town a lot lately, so for the most part, it’s been just me and our little monkeys. Things get tough and tantrums ain’t no joke, but I’ve been learning and re-learning to keep breathing through those hard moments because as hard as it may seem in that moment they do pass and then then the happy blissful moments always out weigh the not so great ones over and over again.
Last week, I surprised the little loves after school and told them we were heading to the pool and their excitement was seriously the best. I really can’t imagine life without them. We had a blast at the pool with only one tiny meltdown when it came to sharing two floaty’s between three kiddos… you do the math ;). After some compromising and a timer set on my phone we were all in good shape again

A list of things I like to pack in my pool bag.
This Hand sanitizer I love the lavender and grapefruit scent!
Bringing a beach wagon like this one or this one to the pool as seriously been a game changer! It nicely fits all the towels, pool toys and a child or two 😉
I also love bringing Ice cold water and love this water bottle that keeps it nice and cold the entire time we are at the pool. I also love using this ice tray for the ice because it fits so nicely inside!
These swim diapers are by far my favorite! I also love using reusable swim diapers and used them all the time when the boys were little.
I also like keeping shampoo, conditioner and body wash in my pool bag incase I decide to shower the kiddos at the pool shower.
So my kiddos prefer swim mask vs goggles because they also help keep water from getting in their nose. It took me to the end of summer and may other cheap face masks to break to invest in these better ones! I got these for Jovi, these pink ones for Gibby and these for Nixon and the quality has already proven to be so much better then the 5-10 dollar ones i was always buying and tightening.
and of course S N A C K S on repeat.

k, waitttttttt. He straight up looks like a seventeen year old here. This is NOT OK, I AM NOT OK!! ok, I’m good now.
Speaking of growing up… (cue in the crying emoji here) This Nixon buddy of mine has really been stepping up his game as the older brother of the household. Just last weekend he planned out his own lemonade stand, from the type of cups he would sell it in to the brand of lemonade he would be selling. Then went around recruiting the neighbors letting them know he was selling lemonade on the corner by our house hahah. It was pretty much the best thing and I’m so proud of him for splitting this earnings evenly with Gibby and Jovi even though he really did most of the work.
