It was fun having my brother in town for a couple weeks over Christmas break! He and my sister Rylee and I attempted to paint along to Bob Ross, man that guy makes it look so easy! We also made some yummy and easy Margherita pizza! Gibson girl was a great help! Her New Year resolution is to become the family cook ;);) Nixon and Jovi entertained the others while Sky, Ry, Gibby and I made dinner. Mmm can you smell it from there?! I’ll list the recipe below!
Ingredients
- 1 can (10 oz) Pillsbury refrigerated thin pizza crust
- 3/4 cup pizza sauce
olive oil
- 1 package (8 oz) fresh mozzarella cheese, cut into 1/8-inch slices
- 1/4 cup finely shredded fresh basil leaves
1 tomato
Helping Uncle Sky spread on the sauce 🙂
Mmmm look at that fresh mozzarella!!!
Gibson also helped make a pepperoni pizza for all the kiddos.
Directions
First open the Pillsbury pizza crust, lay it out flat on a pan and lightly cover with olive oil.
Then bake it on 400 for 5-10 minutes.
Remove from oven and spread on the sauce, mozzarella, tomatoes and fresh basil leafs.
Cook for another 8-12 minutes.
Once all the cheese is melted and the crust is a light golden brown, let it cool, then enjoy!!
Happy baking!
